MARIA “MIA” S. ROSENFELD has been a member of the California Bar since 1996 and is presently admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts of California’s Eastern, Northern, and Central Districts.
Ms. Rosenfeld brings valuable civil litigation experience to O’Brien Law, P.C. with broad-based and balanced litigation skills—in developing cases for efficient trial presentation (and/or disposition via law and motion).
For more than twenty years, Ms. Rosenfeld has practiced in the areas of personal injury, premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice defense (legal/dental professionals), complex litigation (asbestos defense), business litigation, construction defect litigation, and employment discrimination/wrongful termination.
Prior to joining O’Brien Law, P.C., she worked for several firms in the Greater Sacramento area, expanding her practice areas to include advising on employment law matters and negotiating/preparing employment separation agreements. She is well-versed in mediation and with negotiating settlements in cases warranting resolution at the pre-trial stage.
Ms. Rosenfeld obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1993. In May of 1996, Ms. Rosenfeld obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
Ms. Rosenfeld enjoys the arts and culture. She speaks conversational Greek. She also enjoys international travel.
