GEORGE IRWIN is of counsel in Patrick O’Brien & Associates Petaluma office. His practice focuses primarily on general liability and commercial litigation. Mr. Irwin has extensive litigation experience, including representing individuals and businesses in California State and Federal District courts.
Mr. Irwin has successfully resolved a variety of cases involving complex business, personal injury, water contamination, and toxic tort disputes. He used aggressive litigation tactics on behalf of a self-insured client who was being sued in dozens of cases to successfully encourage dismissal of almost all claims against it. He has a winning track record on obtaining favorable testimony in order to prevail on summary judgment.
Mr. Irwin earned his juris doctorate in 1996 from Seattle University School of Law, where he was a member of the international law society. Mr. Irwin is licensed to practice law in California State and Federal Court.
In his free time, Mr. Irwin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys backpacking, hiking, fly-fishing, kayaking, and restoring his 1975 Toyota Land Cruiser.
